Pro-life event information:

Each year we are involved in a life-chain event.  Many families and individuals join in a peaceful and prayerful protest.  Catholics, and Protestants of many denominations, stand shoulder to shoulder in non-sectarian unity for a noble cause--- the sanctity of ALL human life.  There is always room for one more.  I hope you will join us!

Another event that takes place each year is a march for life in down town Dallas.  Catholic brothers and sisters meet for Mass at the Cathedral located at Ross & Pearl in Downtown Dallas.  Protestants meet at the First Baptist Church of Dallas.   At a designated time the Catholics march to the Baptist church and together march to a location in front of the federal courthouse where Row V Wade started.  A contemporary christian singing group from "Christ For The Nations" lead in worship, and then various Catholic and Protestant speakers address the crowd of thousands.  This year, 2011, approximately 10,000 were in attendance.  After the rally those in attendance meet at the two churches for some fun, food, and fellowship.

Speakers at rallies have included:  Bishop Kevin Farrell,  Dr. Jack Hatcher (Christ for the Nations), Dr. Robert Jeffress (Pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas), and Texas State Senator Dan Patrick.

This pro life event is family oriented; it is awesome seeing children marching in the event.

This event is promoted by My Brother's Helper, Inc., Texans for Life Coalition, Catholic Pro-Life Committee of N. Texas, Catholics Respect Life, Concerned Women for America-Texas, Texas Life Chain, Downtown Pregnancy, and many more!

This is a non-sectarian event where people of many faiths can meet in unity for a great and noble cause.  Working together we will some day stamp out abortion!
